Here is what should be the minimum size old CRT monitor allowed for all ages, 19 inches, which is only about a true 18 inch diagonal measurement. On the complaint list is " It's too big I'll hurt my neck or I won't be able to see the whole screen." In several weeks you will say "I'm sure glad you talked me into the proper minimum size...." I recommend going to local stores in your area to buy a monitor. For two reasons. 1st shipping charges are very high ( typically $45 for one UPS zone). Secondly In case there are any problems, its easy to return and replace it to a local store. So price monitors at your local Wall Mart and Best Buy and any other high volume local stores.
NEW ! Wall Mart has a 18 inch ( this is a full 18 inches diagonally) LCD Flat Screen Monitor for only $478 . Although still a little motion slow they are very easy on old eyes.
