Here is the little
Rohn 25G 120 Ft. high tower. At the top is a horizontal yard arm where the
390 ohm, 16 gauge copper clad steel Twinlead meets the center of the 260
foot long driven element. A WA1FFL Center insulator allows the connections
to last. The guy ropes are 5/16th Dacron
rope. Homebrew stabilizers, 40 feet
apart, at guy points, simulate guying a 36 inch face tower , instead of
the actual 12 inch face. A Dick Austin 2 meter 5/8 wave double extended
zepp vertical drains the lightning at the top.
